Steve Rocks the Block!

A new challenger approaches! Steve from Minecraft has recently been announced for Super Smash Brothers Ultimate. With his announcement the gaming community seems to be ecstatic and hyped up for his release. For those who don’t know, Super Smash Brothers Ultimate is a fighting game that has mascots from all corners of the gaming universe as fighters. With expectations lowered by the previous character released, Min Min, players are looking forward to having such a big gaming mascot added to the game.

In other news, Minecraft's next mob is to be voted on the third of October. Masahiro Sakurai, the director of the game has stated that they had to rework every stage in the game to implement Steve's main mechanic of building. He also stated that the development of the character was very difficult. His release is seen as very important due to many people of all ages loving Minecraft. Minecraft has stood the test of time and is still loved to this day. Most players looked at Super Smash Brothers and saw the all star cast and felt that Steve would fit right in with other important gaming mascots such as Mario, Sonic, or Pikachu. For now we must wait till October 13th to try him out and see how well he is represented in the game.
