NFL Playoff Predictions

EDITOR'S NOTE: This article was written before the playoffs began, and then updated for corrections after the wild card round. After several missed predictions, we still adore our NFL correspondent and hope you enjoy the article anyway. Even if he's sometimes wrong. :)

The NFL Playoffs have been altered this season, with 7 teams from each conference getting the chance for glory, as opposed to 6. The #1 seed will be waiting until the divisional round while everyone else will battle it out in a whopping 6 Wild Card games. In the AFC I predicted that the Divisional matchups will be Steelers vs Bills, and Titans vs Chiefs, and the NFC Divisional matchups will be Saints vs Seahawks, and the Football Team vs the Packers. I was definitely wrong about a couple of those. Here’s an updated ending to this story.

Those picks were made the Friday before the wild card round. So as of right now, the NFC picture is made up of Rams vs Packers, and Buccaneers vs Saints. The Saints vs Bucs will be decided by Alvin Kamara, Michael Thomas and the Bucs Defense. If the Bucs can’t contain these two it will be an easy win for the Saints. The Packers vs Rams will be an easy victory for the one seeded Packers. Rodgers and Co. will run right through them. In the NFC championship however, it won't be such a “Breese,” for the Packers (ha ha ha).

In the AFC The Chiefs will win a tough matchup against the hot Browns. The defending champs will go on to face the Bills. The Bills will have to defeat the Ravens to face the champs. The Battle OF THE QUARTERBACKS, will commence and Josh Allen will come out on top. Allen is a super versatile qb who does through the air and on the ground.

The Superbowl will set up as Bills vs Saints (whoops!) after a very tough Win for the Bills over the Chiefs. The Chiefs have one of the best offenses in the league, but they caught the Bills at the wrong time because they have been on a roll lately. Once there, this will be the Bills 5 appearance in the big game while still having no wins. Despite having only one appearance, the Saints also have one Super Bowl ring. I have to go with breaking the drought for Buffalo and am keeping my fingers crossed for the Bills.
